South2 West8 and SAKURA Drop Traditional Tenkara Fishing Rod

South2 West8 has teamed up with SAKURA for a traditional Japanese fishing rod. Founded in Tokyo in 1888 by Shintarou Sakurai, SAKURA has been specializing in making artisanal rods and has since been revered as masters of the craft. The collaborative Tenkara rod is based on the mold of a Wa-zao, a traditional fishing rod whose heritage stretches over a century.
